I am Michael Carnell. There, that is settled! I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. When I graduated from the College of Charleston I lived for six months in Savannah, Georgia, before moving to Atlanta and getting married. We lived in Atlanta for about three and a half years, then moved back to Charleston where we have been ever since.

My interests are varied but include writing, religion, harassing my kids, messing around with old European cars – especially British, watching soccer of all varieties, partaking of the occasional cigar or pipe, and traveling as much as possible.

On the work side, I lead at Palmettobug Digital. Palmettobug Digital, partnered with PST Charleston, is a consulting, training and development company here in Charleston devoted to empowering people through technology.
